Wuhan Zhongyao Pharmaceutical held its “2017 ‘East Lake Ride’ Cycling Friendship Event” along the East Lake Greenway, where all employees and their families enjoyed a delightful weekend.
　　
　　At exactly 9:00 a.m., all employees and their families gathered on time at the entrance of the Donghu Liyuan Square. The participants, clad in green vests specially prepared by the company—symbols of vitality and upward momentum—created a vibrant and eye-catching scene that beautifully complemented the picturesque scenery of Donghu Lake, thus officially kicking off an exciting and colorful cycling event around the lake.
 
　　
　　With the spring breeze blowing and the war drums beating, who’s afraid of a bike ride around East Lake? The first event of the “East Lake Ride” was a cycling race, starting at the East Lake Greenway trailhead and finishing in Chucheng, for a total distance of 6.4 kilometers. Employees and their families who hadn’t signed up as competitors spontaneously stepped in as cheerleaders, accompanying the riders and cheering them on. Along the way, we passed scenic spots such as Jiunv Dun, Yaogou Bridge, and Huguang Pavilion, enjoying both the thrilling race and the breathtaking beauty of the East Lake Greenway.
 
　　
　　After the cycling race, everyone headed to the Liyuan Scenic Area for a brief rest, where they joined up with those who hadn’t competed and their families to enjoy a carefully prepared lunch provided by the company. Following that, we moved on to an exciting and entertaining games session, featuring fun relay races that emphasized teamwork, as well as the colorful and engaging “Five Corners for One Yuan” activity…
 
　　
　　The grand finale of the event was, of course, the awards ceremony. The gifts prepared by the company this time were carefully selected! The first-, second-, and third-place winners of the friendly bicycle race each received a folding bike, a branded badminton racket, and a Xiaomi fitness tracker, respectively. In addition to these prizes, employees who excelled in the games also received generous rewards. Finally, the judging panel honored the Best Rider and Environmental Guardian, the Best Liaison Officer, and the Best Model Worker, presenting each with a well-deserved prize.
