Ornithine Aspartate for Injection 
【Indications】 
It is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic liver diseases, such as hepatic cirrhosis, fatty liver, and hyperammonemia secondary to hepatitis, and is particularly suitable for alleviating central nervous system symptoms caused by hepatic disorders and for the emergency management of hepatic encephalopathy.

【Usage and Dosage】 
For acute hepatitis, administer 5–10 g by intravenous drip daily. For chronic hepatitis or liver cirrhosis, administer 10–20 g by intravenous drip daily (the dose may be increased as appropriate in severe cases; however, based on current clinical experience, the daily dose should not exceed 40 g). For the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, the following regimen may be followed: on the first day, infuse 20 g during the first 6 hours, and during the second 6-hour period administer 10 g twice by intravenous drip. Prior to use, thoroughly dissolve this product in an appropriate volume of sterile water for injection, then add it to 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% or 10% glucose injection, ensuring that the final concentration of ornithine aspartate does not exceed 2%, and administer by slow intravenous drip.
