Ademetionine Disulfonate for Injection 
【Indications】 
Indicated for intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy and intrahepatic cholestasis due to cirrhosis. 
【Specification】 
0.5 g (calculated as ademetionine) 
【Usage and Dosage】 
Initial treatment: Administer injectable S-adenosylmethionine disulfonate at 500–1,000 mg daily by intramuscular or intravenous injection for a total of two weeks. Intravenous administration must be very slow. Maintenance therapy: Use enteric-coated S-adenosylmethionine disulfonate tablets at 1,000–2,000 mg daily by oral administration. For lyophilized powder intended for intramuscular or intravenous administration, it must be reconstituted with an appropriate solvent—specifically, the solvent should be added directly to the lyophilized powder immediately before administration. Any unused residual medication must be properly disposed of. The appropriate dose of ademetionine for intravenous administration must be diluted in 250 mL of saline or 5% dextrose solution and infused slowly over 1–2 hours.
