Attending the ceremony were Chen Yongkai, Head of Innovative Drugs at Qirui Group; Zhang Yihan, Head of Innovative Drug Operations; Liu Peipei, Head of Human Resources; Li Dajiong, Chief Financial Officer; Guo Chaoqun, Recruitment and Training Manager; as well as Wu Chaozhong, Assistant to the President of Wuhan University of Technology; Ai Liang, Deputy Director of the Office for Social Cooperation and Alumni Affairs; Han Tongyuan, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department; Wang Lirong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry and Biological Sciences; Dean Sun Taolei; Vice Deans Wang Chunmei and Xie.

　　At exactly 9:00 a.m. on September 25, 2019, the donation and signing ceremony for the “Qirui–Innovation Rising Star Scholarship” jointly established by Qirui Group and Wuhan University of Technology was solemnly held in Conference Room 103 of the Conference Center on the Mafangshan Campus of Wuhan University of Technology. Attending the ceremony were Chen Yongkai, Head of Innovative Drugs at Qirui Group; Zhang Yihan, Head of Innovative Drug Operations; Liu Peipei, Head of Human Resources; Li Dajiong, Chief Financial Officer; Guo Chaoqun, Recruitment and Training Manager; as well as Wu Chaozhong, Assistant to the President of Wuhan University of Technology; Ai Liang, Deputy Director of the Office for Social Cooperation and Alumni Affairs; Han Tongyuan, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department; Wang Lirong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry and Biological Sciences; Sun Taolei, Dean of the School; Wang Chunmei, Vice Dean; Xie Zhizhong, Vice Dean; Geng Yinggang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; and Xu Haixing, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lirong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry and Biological Sciences at Wuhan University of Technology.

　　Chen Yongkai provided an overview of Qirui Group, covering the company’s activities in innovative drug R&D, its achievements, core principles, and future plans. He emphasized the company’s commitment to collaboration with universities and talent development. Noting that the current partnership between Qirui and Wuhan University of Science and Technology is just the beginning, he stated that in the future the company can leverage its strengths in commercializing research outcomes and combine them with the university’s research expertise and resource advantages to foster deep cooperation across multiple dimensions—namely talent cultivation, capability building, R&D projects, and resource integration—thereby promoting mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
　　Professor Wu Chaozhong expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the university. He stated that the establishment of the “Qirui–Innovation Rising Star Scholarship” represents a new milestone and a new stage in university–enterprise collaboration, and will further advance cooperation between the university—particularly the School of Chemistry and Biology—and enterprises in areas such as research collaboration, talent development, and technological problem-solving.
　　Vice Dean Wang Chunmei outlined the development history of the College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Life Sciences, as well as its strengths in talent resources. Vice Deans Xie Zhizhong and Director Xu Haixing then each presented the college’s current advantages in academic research, discipline development, and faculty resources.

　　Deputy Director Ai Liang stated that the Wuhan University of Technology Education Development Foundation will rigorously manage corporate donation funds in strict accordance with established standards and disburse the “Qirui–Innovation Rising Star Scholarship” in compliance with relevant regulations. Subsequently, she and Chen Yongkai, representing both the university and the enterprise, signed the “Wuhan University of Technology ‘Qirui–Innovation Rising Star Scholarship’ Agreement,” thereby jointly concluding the scholarship signing ceremony.

　　Chen Yongkai, on behalf of the company, donated RMB 200,000 in scholarships to the university, and Dean Sun Taolei, as the university’s representative, presented Qirui Group with a certificate of scholarship donation.
　　Liu Peipei delivered a speech on behalf of the company. She stated that Qirui Group, recognized as a National Demonstration Enterprise for Technological Innovation, is a full-chain pharmaceutical group whose core mission is human health and which is driven by technology and talent. This strategic collaboration with the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Life Sciences at Wuhan University of Technology—the establishment of the “Qirui–Innovation Rising Star Scholarship”—is aimed at advancing discipline development and talent cultivation, fully leveraging the university’s strengths in industry–university–research integration and the enterprise’s capabilities in translating scientific research into practical applications. The initiative seeks to inspire students in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Life Sciences to deepen their professional knowledge and dedicate themselves to China’s pharmaceutical sector, while also broadening awareness of Qirui Group’s corporate culture and further strengthening cooperation between the university and the enterprise.
　　
　　Following the donation ceremony, the university and the enterprise engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on joint graduate training programs, the establishment of internship bases, and the alignment of scientific and technological projects.
