Summary: In response to business development needs, the Company has revised and promulgated the 2019 Edition of the Procurement Management System, which has been officially piloted as of June 1, 2019. To enhance all employees’ understanding and implementation of the new system, the Company’s Procurement Center organized five specialized training sessions at headquarters and across all subsidiary business units from June 10 to 17. The training was attended by senior and middle-level managers from all business units related to procurement, heads of various departments, and employee representatives from procurement requisition and acceptance functions in each department.

　　The training session drew on a range of historical case studies to focus on key topics such as requisition management, classification of procurement items, selection of procurement methods, regulations governing order processing, and supplier management. During the session, representatives from various departments raised detailed questions regarding emergency procurement procedures and the allocation of procurement authorities, which were promptly addressed by the Procurement Center. The entire training was recorded, and all departments may obtain copies of the training materials from their respective HR departments for further study.
　　As a business segment where cost and risk coexist, procurement management is a key focus of the company’s compliance audits. The trial implementation of the new procurement management system ensures that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures from the outset and supported by solid documentation during subsequent audits, thereby further facilitating the smooth execution of all procurement operations and ensuring the successful achievement of the company’s business objectives.
